Coach Leather Goods Style Guide Fit Comfort and Care
Every Coach Bag Line: Explained Line by Line
Founded in 1941, Coach originally focused on men’s small leather goods, and women’s handbags arrived later before becoming the core of the brand. These days, coach handbags stretch from structured shoulder bags and relaxed hobos to satchels, carryalls, crossbodies and archive reissues. One line at a time, this walkthrough explains what each main bag is, when it arrived and how it is put together. Some popular lines have no reliable launch year on record, so dates appear here only where they are documented.
Rather than being taken from an official price list, the prices here are observed market prices from 2026, and size, material and promotions can all change them. Similar names can refer to entirely different designs, a point worth remembering when picking your first coach bag. When searching for a Coach bag, certain shoppers type “couch bag” by mistake, and since the word also denotes a sofa, listings for furniture can end up in the results.
The Tabby Line
Built as a structured shoulder bag with detachable straps and Signature “C” hardware, the Tabby works just as well crossbody. It was introduced by Stuart Vevers in 2019, taking its lines from a shape from Coach’s 1970s archive. The campaign that launched it, named “Dream It Real”, was reportedly shot by Juergen Teller. Listings have shown sizes 20, 26 and 36, and the base product name is Tabby Shoulder Bag.
Then, in 2021, the padded Pillow Tabby joined the line, sold under names such coach-clothing.com as Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 With Pillow Quilting. Observed prices for the Tabby 26 stood at $475 in the US and £475 in the UK, with quilted and special-edition versions listed higher. Shoppers who want one bag for daytime and evening use will find it suits them, since it moves easily between shoulder and crossbody wear.
The Brooklyn Family
The Brooklyn is a soft, slouchy coach shoulder bag in natural-grain leather, far nearer to a hobo than to the structured Tabby. Its release came in August 2024, after its appearance on the Fall 2024 runway. Two main sizes have been reported, the Brooklyn 28 and the bigger Brooklyn 39. Billed as large enough for a 15-inch laptop, the 39 makes a practical work bag.
Not to be confused with the shoulder styles, a newer Brooklyn Carryall shape was reported for Spring 2026. The Brooklyn 28 was observed at £350 at John Lewis in the UK. The RealReal’s 2025 resale report noted that searches for Coach had risen 160% and listed the Brooklyn among its examples; this number, however, measures searches rather than resale prices.
The Rogue Family
Coach’s structured satchel is the Rogue, fitted with top handles and a shoulder strap. First shown on the Fall 2016 runway, the bag was eventually discontinued; a 2021 relaunch revived it. The line sits at the very top of Coach’s leather range, with versions in regenerative leather and exotic skins. A Rogue 25 in alligator was observed at $8,000, the highest Coach bag price observed in 2026.
Coach also sells a Made-to-Order Rogue, which has reportedly taken roughly 12 weeks, or around 16 weeks with exotic materials. Restored Rogue bags have appeared through Coach (Re)Loved, the brand’s own resale and repair program. The Rogue shows, in the eyes of many collectors, how far upmarket Coach craftsmanship can reach.
The Empire Carryall Line
The Empire Carryall, offered as the Empire Carryall Bag 34, takes an elongated, east-west top-handle shape. Having been shown on Coach’s Fall 2024 runway, it went on sale in February 2025. According to reports in the fashion press, it sold out on the day of its release. Softer-bodied variants called Soft Empire, including a Soft Empire 40, are separate styles from the structured Carryall 34.
For UK shoppers the Empire Carryall 34 was observed at £475 on Coach’s own website. Because of its long top-handle shape, it makes a smarter alternative to a coach tote bag for day-to-day use. If you are comparing listings, check the number that follows the name: 34 and 40 are different bags.

Kisslock Styles Compared: Frame, Dreamer and Barrel
Coach links the Kisslock motif to the Bonnie Cashin era; the name describes a frame clasp modeled on vintage coin purses. Several different bags share the name, and they should not be mixed up. Reportedly the opening look of the Fall 2026 show, the Kisslock Frame Bag in glovetanned leather was observed selling for $350. Earlier Kisslock Frame versions also show up in listings, so the family may predate that show.
Now, the Kisslock Dreamer 21 is seen largely as restored or upcrafted pieces through Coach (Re)Loved; it is an older style with quilted nappa leather and rivets. For its Spring 2026 season, Coach Originals revived a 1973 design as the Kisslock Barrel Bag. Adding yet another use of the name, a Kisslock Backpack was also unveiled for Fall 2026.
Swinger, Swing Zip and The Coach Originals
Pieces in The Coach Originals are new rather than vintage: the line is made up of newly made reissues of archive designs. Coach dates the original Swinger design to 1987; today it is a short-strap, zip-top shoulder bag with a turnlock. Also sold With Chain and in Signature canvas or jacquard, the Swinger Bag 20 is the current version. Modeled on a 1998 design, the Swing Zip is a separate Coach Originals bag, which means the two names should not be swapped.
The Safari Bag from 1968, the Dinky from 1974 and the Hamptons Hobo from 2005 were among the other Originals reported in early 2025. Reports indicate that the Coach Originals name was already being used by 2020. For anyone who wants an archive look without the wear of a truly vintage piece, the line is a good fit.
The Soho Names: Bag 25, Flap and Sneaker
As it covers three different products, Soho is one of the trickiest names in the Coach catalog. The original Soho Flap was first released in 2006. Instead of being that 2006 bag, the Soho Bag 25 is a smaller, newer reissue, produced in materials such as glovetanned leather, patent leather and crystal jacquard. A Soho Flap Bag in regenerative leather has also been listed, and Soho styles belong to The Coach Originals.
Unlike the bags, the Soho Sneaker is footwear Coach has showcased in 2025 and 2026, and it sits with shoes and coach clothing rather than handbags. Adding “Bag 25” or “Flap” to a search helps separate the bags from the shoe. No reliable current price for the Soho bags was captured, so consult Coach’s own website before buying.
Willow, Cassie and Juliet Side by Side
These three lines are well known, but none has a documented launch year, so approach any date you see online with caution. Built around pebble leather, the Willow family has included the Willow Tote 24, a Willow Bucket and a Willow Shoulder bag. A Custom Willow Tote has also been offered on Coach’s own website; the Willow Tote 24, for its part, is a straightforward example of a coach tote bag. Cassie is a crossbody and top-handle family, taking in the Cassie Crossbody Bag 19 featuring a Signature turnlock and interchangeable straps.
With newer style codes, Cassie styles have kept appearing on Coach’s own website. Made in glovetanned leather, Juliet is a slouchy shoulder bag whose versions include the Juliet Shoulder Bag 25 and the Pocket Juliet Bag 30. Availability changes with the seasons, so verify that a given Willow, Cassie or Juliet style is still current before relying on an older review.
All the Lines at a Glance: Observed Prices
Line by line, the table below lists the shape, the key date and, where one was reliably captured, an observed 2026 price. These are observed market prices, not an official Coach price list, and they change with size, material, color and promotions. UK prices include VAT, whereas US prices do not include sales tax. A coach outlet runs its own promotions on outlet styles, and full-price styles can be marked down during sales.
Physical outlet stores and an official online outlet section on Coach’s own website form Coach Outlet, which is Coach’s own official channel. Around 85% of outlet merchandise was made specifically for the outlet channel, according to a 2014 quote from Coach’s head of investor relations. Tapestry has since discussed bringing some full-price collection product into outlets, and that number is dated. When shopping for current-season lines, Coach’s own website or a full-price coach store is still the place to look.
